Modern industry requires machines that work with high dynamics and are precise and reliable. Consequently, there is a need for design tools based on predictive models that consider degradation effects and that allow to ensure the precision of the machines from the mechanical design phase of its components with the best control strategy to the monitoring of the operation in plant.
The main objective of the project is to develop digital models that allow determining and optimizing in the design phase the dynamic performance, precision and reliability achievable by a machine and the expected loss of performance associated with the evolutionary effects in its life cycle with maximum productivity. ; as well as control strategies to mitigate the consequences of this loss of benefits.
our contribution
IKERLAN, in addition to leading the project, contributes by developing physical behavior models of effects, component models, machine models and aggregate models of production lines or plants.
