HySGrid+ will investigate new strategies and technological solutions that enable optimal planning, efficient operation and intelligent control of local energy communities. The goal is based on achieving a positive energy balance based entirely on renewable sources.
In particular, the project will address the design, development and validation of technologies that enable, among other things, the design of local energy communities under the premise of positive energy balance.
Work will also be made to efficiently manage the community with the support of flexible resources such as storage systems, manageable loads and charging stations. The community's thermal and electrical grids will be integrated, facilitating the exchange of energy between the different members of the community.
In addition, the consortium will also investigate the approach and study of new innovative business models, which enhance the deployment of energy positive local communities, based on the commercialisation of energy services.
our contribution
From Ikerlan, we will provide our expertise in the entire value chain of the integration of electrical storage systems in the energy sector: design and development of Energy Storage System (behaviour and life estimates, Batery Management System, power electronics, cooling, etc.), to integration and optimised management in smart grids.
