of IKERLAN technologies

01

Energy efficiency and sustainability

We offer high-efficiency electrical powertrain solutions through high-performance battery integration, the latest technology in electrical engines and their controls, as well as cutting-edge power converters, which include SiC semi-conductors integration. These solutions enable vehicle electrification, reducing the amount of components and their maintenance, and develop more sustainable environmental applications.

02

Smart functions (smart vehicle)

Incorporating sensors / actuators and electronic device integration allow for advanced functions such as driver assistance (ADAS), adapting the vehicle for improved travel comfort, or providing useful information for the driver or passengers making their journey more comfortable and entertaining.

03

Operational optimisation

Digital technologies and knowledge of the electrical powertrain enable optimised management of energy resources. Battery control and management algorithms, paired with power recharge systems and their connection to the power grid allow for optimised vehicle energy efficiency. Comprehensive management and recharge infrastructure design are also key aspects for vehicle fleet solutions optimisation.

04

Vehicle connectivity and digitalisation

As is to be expected, connectivity is also key in electromovility. This connectivity optimises the interaction between vehicles, and allows operators to access reliable information on the actual use of their vehicle fleet. Technologies such as IoT, Big Data, and cyber-secure communications are key to guarantee that digitisation becomes a reliable, safe, and escalable reality.

05

Security: safety and cybersecurity

Digital technologies must also guarantee security for occupants and in the event of any possible damages to their surroundings or the equipment itself. With this goal in mind, we have incorporated our secure hardware and software development and certification methodology, which guarantees the dependability of equipment designs, and simplifies their certification under each sector's regulations (IEC-61508, EN-5012x, ISO-26262, etc.). Due to the ever-increasing interconnection between systems, and their exposure, it is necessary to guarantee the safety and cybersecurity of embedded electronic systems and their connections, starting from the design concept itself, while analysing and including countermeasures for vulnerabilities and following regulations in this respect (IEC-62443).
